My dad didn’t talk to me for 10 years because I chose comedy over law – Alibaba Veteran Nigerian comedian, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, popularly known as Alibaba, has revealed that his dad kept malice with him for ten years because he chose to become a comedian rather than a lawyer. Alibaba revealed this when he featured as a guest in the Christmas edition of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Alibaba recounted leaving the university to inform his dad about his decision to become a comedian only for his reaction to force him to abscond from home. He said he became determined to be a successful comedian in a bid to prove his father wrong. Alibaba said, “My dad is a bookworm. He got his PhD at 86. I told him, I said, ‘Daddy, I came from school to tell you something.’ He said, ‘Okay, have you been rusticated?’ I said, ‘No. I’ve decided that I don’t want to read law. POPULAR PHOTOGRAPHER DIES A DAY TO HIS BIRTHDAY

  A popular photographer based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State who is best known as Wildshot, has dled in a lone car accident in the Wimpe area of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, Rivers State. According to reports, the photographer was said to have rammed into a building while trying to overtake a trailer at about 9pm on Friday, December 8. The deceased who was an only child, was reportedly at a popular gymnastics centre in Port Harcourt when his mother in the Rumuola area called him to complain that some suspected cultists were shooting around her residence. Late Wildshot was said to have abandoned his activities at the gym, hopped into his vehicle and rushed to the area in a bid to save his mother. Eyewitnesses claim late Wildshot who was on speed, tried to overtake a trailer but lost control of his car, rammed into a building and sustained serious injuries.
